Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park has Arizona’s largest collection of exotic and endangered animals, with more than 600 separate species, rides, a petting zoo, and daily shows. The Zoo is located in Litchfield Park, Arizona, and covers an area of 215 acres with over 6,000 animals.
The Safari Park at Wildlife World Zoo should not be missed! With a brand new 15 acre expansion, the park was able to add a new African lion habitat and room for a variety of new African birds. Visitors can walk around the Safari Park or take a tram ride through the animal exhibits. Some of the animals that live in the Safari Park include African Lions, Sable Antelope, Ostriches, Olive Baboons, and Cheetahs.
Visitors should not forget about the aquarium located at this park, with four buildings dedicated to the hundreds of fish, amphibians, invertebrates, and reptiles, and the longest acrylic tunnel tank in Arizona! The Aquarium is also home to Sunny, the first sea lion pup born in Arizona! Other animals include crocodiles, turtles, barracudas, otters, and piranhas.
Wildlife World Zoo isn’t just a regular zoo; it is interactive, educational, and unique. People can come from all over to see and participate in the shows and activities that are held several times daily. Visitors can see and feed “Sea Lions at Shipwreck Cove”, feel the long, blue tongues of giraffes at “Giraffe Feeding Station”, hang out at the “Kids’ Petting Zoo”, touch stingrays at “Stingray Feeding”, learn about wildlife at “Wildlife Encounters”, and meet amazing tropical birds at “Lory Parrot Feeding”. These activities are free with admission and provide an amazing opportunity to interact with and learn about some of the amazing animals we share the planet with!
