SeaWorld Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Program
After weeks of rehabilitation at SeaWorld San Diego, California sea lions are returned back into the ocean as part of the park’s Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Program. SeaWorld has rescued more than 41,000 animals that were ill, injured or stranded over the last five decades. The goal of the program is to return rehabilitated animals to the wild, giving them a second chance at life.
